ESPN

We’ve done a lot of work with ESPN from creating packages for Sports Center to creating our own shows ESPN and ABC as well as creating A LOT of series and content for their digital branches. A majority of our focus was on building the X-Games brand by bridging the gap between broadcast and digital content.

Above is a highlight reel from 2018? Below are some of the series we did. When I have time I’ll start uploading some of the actual episodes and content.

Skaters In Cars

Probably the most successful show for X-Games as we did 8 Seasons including episodes airing on ABC’s World Of X. Bluntly w/ Chris Nieratko we just did our version of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee but with the biggest names in skateboarding going to famous skate spots.

Episodes included: Tony Hawk, Stevie Williams, Ryan Sheckler, Mike Vallely, Chris Cole, Kyle Walker, Leo Romero, Don Nguyen, Rowan Zorilla, Daniel Lutheran, Tory Pudwill, Dustin Dollin, Ryan Decnenzo, Louie Lopez, Chris Russel, Jamie Foy, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, Ron Diely, Chris Joslin, Alec Majerus, Zered Bassett, Jagger Eaton, Mike Anderson, Mason Silva, Marty Murawski, Julian Davidson, Nick Garcia, Corey Glick, Dsvid Reyes, Curren Caples, Andrew Allen, Lizzie Armanto, Chima Ferguson, Elijah Berle, and more than a few lost episodes… X-GAMES added a handful of the episodes to it’s youtube after they aired!

Incomplete list of other series

Simple idea; talk to athletes about their experiences at the X-Games. Featuring athletes from skate, snow, and bmx Remebering-X has the most episodes of any series on X-Games dot com.

Full dive documentary into some of BMX’s most influential people. The most work of any series we did for ESPN. The reason I haven’t got back into long form documentary until recently.

Pretty popular show, multiple episodes, fans, etc… Personally mostly an excuse travel with good friend Ben Hucke and document riding in places like Hawaii, UK, Seattle, Austin…

Very much another excuse to travel; going to places like China, Chile, Hong Kong, Malaysia in order to “document” different aspects of bmx around the world.

Exploring top athletes favorite places to ride. The TV production people seemed to like this more than the digital audience.

Self indulgent way to do a version of Skaters In Cars in BMX, much harder without Nieratko. Went to various Never Been Done spots and discussed what made them special.

Checking in with numerous top athletes before, after, or during big events.

Another self indulgent show focused on having good times riding w/ good people.
